SPOILERS!
After loving the first two books in this series, this ending volume was a disappointment. Having the characters return to their state before the entire story began complete destroys any chance of character development. While Gideon and Nathaniel have memories of the events that transpired over the first two books, the child protagonists do not. I am so disappointed that the children are unable to learn from their adventures that I cannot recommend this series.
