The Clockwork Three by Matthew J. Kirby

The Clockwork ThreeThe Clockwork Three by Matthew J. Kirby
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I thought this book was...fantastic. The characters were well-developed and flawed, but realistic. The pseudo-historical fiction was riveting and alarming. The interactions between the characters kept me wondering how their relationships would develop and not until the last 3 chapters was I able to predict a probable resolution. Industrial-era US with a bit of clockpunk thrown in for good measure. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and am pleased that is self-contained without any sequels or dangling plot points.
