A Mole goes in search for dinner.
While this is no exception to Lois Ehlert colorful, collaged style, I find this picturebook particularly difficult to read both visually and lyrically.
The illustrations are just too busy to pin point any real central focus and the rhyming text forces a narrative that doesn't really work.
