Apples and Robins by Lucie Felix
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
It's a spring story...but so much more.
This insanely clever concept book uses simple shapes and colors to tell the story of apples falling from trees and watching robins for signs of spring. Yet, Felix uses the negative space on the recto to create an imagine with framed cut-out shapes. The result is mesmerizing and fascinating!
