A gentle and sweet narrative with easy-to-read font with repetitive phrases sits atop digitally rendered illustrations that look as if they were drawn in pencil. The full-page spreads push the illustrations forward and allow great detail while the characters move across the pages and to the safety of home. A great read aloud!
