Review: Island of Dragons

A decent end to a good series.
I love the characters and the world and the hope that is offered in this series finale. I did not, however, like the insane amount of battle detail--I found it rather tedious and overly descriptive. I also found the technicalities of the magic to be rather problematic. While I felt that there was definite suspense, I found it to be more frustrating than anything else.

A good series overall, just not the great one that I wanted it to be.
