Ninja Bunny: Sister vs. Brother by Jennifer Gray Olson
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
This sequel to Ninja Bunny is...okay. The illustrations are well-designed with ink and watercolor, have a movement-laden dynamic quality and have some excellent fonts to contrast with said illustrations.
The story, however, feels well-trodden in the route of sibling picturebooks, and while I applaud the "little can be just as good as big" message, it doesn't feel fresh here, despite the fact that a bunch of kids are sneaking away to steal a really big carrot.
