Review: Letters to a Prisoner

Letters to a Prisoner Letters to a Prisoner by Jacques Goldstyn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Whimsical, dynamic illustrations tell the story of a father unjustly imprisoned. This telling feels universal in its wordlessness and easily accessible emotions. I was not expecting such a powerful read, but this picturebook speaks loudly and clearly in our current political climate, rife with symbolism through color and design.
