I have SUPER mixed feelings about this book. On the one hand it looks like Christian Robinson's illustrations in Gaston, but it also felt...mean. The dog doesn't like being a trained dog, so it leaves? Mmm...a lot more to unpack here than just a lesson on "being yourself."
