I am so glad I am done reading this book. It was painful. While I liked the story, it is the wordiest, angst-iest book I have ever read and could really have benefited from and editor willing to cut out about a third of the novel. I was unimpressed with the character development and honestly for a book I have waited years to read, this one did not live up to what I hoped. At all. Don't waste your time. Read a summary.
