Review: Heir of Fire

Heir of Fire Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This continuation of the Throne of Glass books would appeal to teens who are not yet ready for A Game of Thrones. This installment sees its protagonist sink lower into despair and self-loathing. We find out more about her history and her character transitions.

The narrative breaks into following more characters than just Celaena, Chaol and Dorian. New characters are introduced and we gain further insight into this magical world and the extremes of the King.

I am intrigued to read the next book as the world prepares for war. I do hope, however, that the next book wraps up the saga, because more than that would just be dragging the story out.
