A boy, with his cat, tell us what he loves about each month of the year.
Translated from the French, La ronde des mois, this picturebook poetic form is comforting and beautiful. The colored pencil on Mylar paper give each illustration a warm, fuzzy focus. November's full page spread is my favorite with hues of pink and just a tail of the boy's cat. Friendship is not seasonal, but all year; the boy and the cat show that with every page turn.
