Bears make the best reading buddies for a slew of bear-related reasons.
I wanted this book to be so much better. It seems that there are a lot of bear books being pushed out this spring, and this one does not stand out among the crowd. While the text is playful, it just not a consistent concept that I can truly get behind. The illustrations look to be digitally rendered, and printed on glossy paper. While I see stylistic talent in the illustrations, they feel really forced to me. Not a bad book, just one that blends in.
