A mother listens to her child's imaginative story of a visiting bear.

Colored pencil and gouache illustrations depict the text of this story. The illustrations do not really extend or expand upon the conversation between mother and child. And while it is clear that the illustrator is talented, the illustrations are uninspired and the text is long. Perhaps something was lost in translation from German to English?
