A dog, a cat and a mouse are unable to make their appropriate animal sounds! So the owl suggests they visit the witch and get everything sorted out.
ANgular, colorful and rendered in mixed media, this picturebook is written in verse. Sometimes the rhyme is forced, sometimes it is so spot on it is wonderful. The repetition is fun, the various colors for different spells really show the progression of the story and the characters are just fun. A little long, but worth the length in all it's angular silliness.
