Sweet, sad, spooky and surprising, Raina Telgemeier's newest graphic novel, due out September 2016, is sure to delight. Cat's younger sister suffers from cystic fibrosis and the family moves to the coast to better help her health. But this coastal town believes in ghosts and Cat does not like the idea of ghosts and death. With the veil between the living and the dead so close on Dio de la Muerta, Cat learns to accept her new situation and her sister's condition.

This seemingly quick read is stuffed with depth and symbolism, with sibling annoyance and love and with acceptance and hope.
